The University of Central Florida student chapter was established in 1972 and has been active throughout the years. Our chapter aims to enhance the personal and professional development of engineering students by providing hands on learning experiences, technical tours and seminars, as well as community outreach events. Our chapter is able to create well-rounded individuals through: leadership, industry exposure, competitions, networking opportunities, and community service events. It is our mission to recognize the correlation between classroom teachings and real world practices as well as prepare our students for a career in the engineering field.
